The second year is a quest for information. Second
graders want to know why things are the way they are and how they work.
This is a fun age for teacher and pupil alike.
The Tanglewood Curriculum equips these
young explorers with the basic skills they need and supplies them with plenty of
enthralling books to let them experience times and places they've never
dreamed of.
Our signature teacher's
plan book, or Corebook, helps you to
organize your daily schedules and record what you have done to ensure that
you meet the objectives for the year. The Corebook also provides schedules for
narrations and copy-work,
timetable lists, and outlines for teaching geography and health.
By the way,
we know every child is different-- feel free to mix and match between the grade
levels to create the best "fit" for your child!
